With reference to your advertisement in the (date) issue of Breeders Today and considering that I recently gained my HND in agricultural studies, I wish to apply for the post of breeder within your company. 

I have been in the fortunate position that my father is a farmer, which has given me years of experience in cattle breeding, with skills ranging from feeding the cattle, caring for them, carrying out maintenance work on the facilities to selling the cattle.
